Iman Jomha is a partner at Weir Bowen LLP in Edmonton, where her practice focuses on medical malpractice litigation. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2013 and began her articles there in July 2015. Iman concentrates on legal research and written advocacy at both the trial and appellate levels, and she believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to representing clients. She is also a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, where she co-teaches Medical Malpractice Law with Joseph Miller, KC.
Iman finds plaintiff work deeply rewarding because of the difference it can make in the lives of families. She is driven by a commitment to pursuing justice and fair compensation for those injured by medical negligence, even when cases are complex and hard fought.
Outside of work, Iman spends much of her time keeping up with her young daughter. She also enjoys gardening, reading, camping and travelling with her husband.
