Over the past 15 years I have developed a skill set which allows me to efficiently and effectively assist clients through the complex minefield which is medical malpractice litigation. I have earned a reputation as being a lawyer who will fight hard for clients but also uses a pragmatic approach so as to avoid unnecessary delays and to get cases concluded as quickly as possible.
I have represented more than a hundred injured patients and their families over the past 15 years, including claims involving brain injuries, heart attacks, strokes, orthopaedic injuries, and spinal cord injuries. Throughout this time I have been co-counsel with my partner, Joe Miller Q.C., on a number of birth injury cases and I have been fortunate to learn a great deal about these complex and difficult cases. I am devoting much of my practice to helping profoundly injured children and their families, who regularly inspire me with their grace and persistence.
In my spare time I love boating and snowmobiling with my three kids, as well as trying to convince them that playing golf is a good idea.
